Totes sells a broad range, from pocket minis to golf umbrellas, and its product pages describe features rather than measurements: most give no arc or folded length. Where totes does state a figure, it's below; where it doesn't, we say so. Pages read on 6 October 2026; the site does not test umbrellas itself.

How to choose a totes umbrella
Check the size on the listing. Totes sells several folding models in one-person and two-person sizes under one name, and the product pages don't give the arc. The listing or the box will.
Reverse-close is the rain feature that matters most in a city. Folding the wet side in keeps car seats and bags dry, which is why we put the Inbrella first.
Wind figures are totes' own. The 75 mph figures above are what totes states; we have no independent test to compare them with.
Questions people ask
Are totes umbrellas windproof?
Totes says its Titan windproof folding umbrella and its reverse-close folding umbrella stand up to winds of 75 mph. That's the maker's figure; we don't test umbrellas.
What is a totes Inbrella?
It's totes' name for its reverse-closing umbrella: it folds inside out, so the wet side ends up inside.
Totes or Repel?
Totes offers more styles and sizes; Repel is one well-documented compact with a lifetime warranty. Our totes vs Repel comparison goes through both.
